Sheer Vanity

Bolena hair in Blond Essence by Vanity Hair worn with Layla skin from Glam Affair; no alpha lashes from Miamai, and beads from Lagyo.

A couple of weeks ago a message appeared in the Vanity Hair  Flickr group suggesting a photo contest would be a good idea...Tabtata Jewell, the creator of the immensely successful Vanity Hair has responded. The contest features releases from the recent Hair Fair.

I'm a long time fan of Vanity Hair since I discovered it back in 2009. Designed for runway and photography, Vanity Hair was radically different from anything I'd seen before - in what seemed like a sea of prim laden, alpha heavy flexi hair that bounced all over the place when you moved and disappeared if you stood anywhere near a window or a tree, Vanity Hair was a breath of fresh air. Huge masses of sculpted corkscrew curls, soaring updos, cute crops, funky afros - Vanity has them all - unique, dramatic, stylish and chic. If I'd been rich enough I would have bought the company (not that it was ever for sale). As it was, I just bought lots...and I mean LOTS.

These are the first 3 of my entries for the Vanity Hair contest, it's been great fun styling for such bold hairstyles - and for one collection to inspire so many distinct looks is a testament to the creativity and originality of the designs. There are some wonderful entries in the Flickr group set up specifically for the contest - well worth a look here.
