A little bit of fashion trivia for you - did you know the term 'Pea Coat" dates back to the 18th century and originally referred to a type of jacket worn by sailors? They were double breasted jackets with wide lapels, and made from a heavy wool twill fabric, usually blue, that was called "pilot cloth", that was shortened to "P" and hence the Peacoat was born!
