Inspired by....Vivienne Westwood

Some good news for me this week - Tres Beau has taken me on as a blogger! I don't enter into this sort of relationship lightly, as it's important to me that my blog remains a personal styling diary - I only want to blog about fashion I enjoy wearing. But Tres Beau, one of the longest established fashion houses in SecondLife (Kimmera Madison started in 2004!) is exceptional - the quality is always amazing, and the styles range from haute couture through lingerie and more edgy high fashion, for both men and women.  So I'm delighted to be able to present some of their designs to you.

As soon as I saw the vendor ad for Dana I was inspired to put together a Vivienne Westwood look - the exaggerated shoulders and nipped in waist of the cropped jacket combined with the long plaid skirt, with extravagant asymmetric folds falling from one hip, seemed exactly right.

Dana comes as a complete outfit with a hat and veil and gloves with red cuff to match the jacket, and a big white bow at the neck of the blouse - it's quite an equestrian style, very elegant and chic - but for this look I wanted to accessorize a little differently, so I added a plaid scarf from So Many Styles, crocodile gloves from Lagyo and a shiny black corset from NV Corsetry to really emphasize that waistline.
